Welcome to the TXForge Forum!

TXForge is intended to be a place where model builders, EdgeTX users, developers, and enthusiasts can help each other, exchange experiences, and build knowledge together.

To make this possible, the following forum rules apply.

1. Treat Others with Respect

Treat other members respectfully and objectively.

Different opinions, experiences, and levels of knowledge are explicitly welcome. Personal attacks, insults, intimidation, or degrading behavior are not permitted.

2. No Discrimination or Hate Speech

Everyone should feel welcome at TXForge.

Discriminatory, racist, sexist, dehumanizing, or otherwise degrading content, as well as calls for hatred or violence, are not permitted.

Targeted degradation or harassment of individuals or groups is also prohibited.

3. Help Other Members

TXForge thrives on the knowledge of its community.

Share your experiences, solutions, and tips. When answering a question, try to explain as clearly as possible why a particular solution works.

Questions from beginners are welcome too.

4. There Are No Stupid Questions

Everyone has to start somewhere.

Please treat questions from beginners with the same respect as questions from experienced users. If a question has already been answered several times, you are welcome to refer the user to an existing discussion or tutorial.

5. Search Before Creating a New Topic

Before creating a new topic, please use the search function.

If the topic already exists, please participate in the existing discussion whenever possible. This helps keep the knowledge on TXForge organized and makes it easier to find later.

6. Create Meaningful Topic Titles

Choose a title that is as specific and descriptive as possible.

A meaningful title helps other members understand the topic and improves its discoverability through the search function.

7. Use the Correct Category

When creating a topic, choose the category that best matches its content.

If a discussion clearly develops into a different subject, the moderation team may move or split the discussion.

8. Stay on Topic

Try to stay focused on the original subject within a topic.

If a new discussion develops, it is better to create a separate topic for it. If appropriate, you can refer back to the original discussion.

9. No Advertising or Spam

Unwanted advertising, spam, automated posts, link spam, or repeated self-promotion are not permitted.

Relevant recommendations for products, shops, software, or services are generally allowed as long as they are objectively related to the topic and are not primarily intended as advertising.

Commercial interests must be disclosed transparently.

10. Links and Sources

Links to helpful guides, documentation, GitHub projects, products, or other resources are welcome.

Please ensure that links have a meaningful connection to the topic.

When using content created by other people or obtained from other sources, respect the applicable copyright rules and identify the source where required or appropriate.

11. Do Not Publish Private or Confidential Information

Do not publish personal or confidential information belonging to other people.

This includes, in particular:

• Private addresses
• Telephone numbers
• Private email addresses
• Login credentials
• Passwords
• API keys
• Private documents
• Other confidential information

Your own sensitive credentials should never be published on the forum either.

12. Respect Copyright

Only publish content, images, text, videos, files, or software for which you have the necessary rights to publish and use them.

Copying entire third-party articles or other protected content is not permitted unless you have the appropriate permission to do so.

13. Safety When Working with Model Building and Electronics

Topics involving model building, batteries, electronics, motors, radio control systems, and other technical systems can involve risks of damage or injury if handled incorrectly.

Always verify technical recommendations yourself before putting them into practice and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Safety-related information should be formulated as clearly and unambiguously as possible.

14. No Illegal Content

Content that violates applicable law is not permitted.

This includes, in particular, calls for or instructions on committing criminal offenses, as well as content that infringes the rights of others.

15. No Circumvention of Moderation Measures

If a post has been removed, a topic has been closed, or a user account has been restricted, the measure must not be circumvented by creating new accounts or using other technical means.

If you disagree with a moderation decision, please use the designated appeal process.

16. Posts May Be Moderated

TXForge may review content and take appropriate action if posts violate these forum rules, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.

Depending on the situation, measures may include:

• Posts being edited or hidden
• Topics being closed or moved
• Users receiving warnings
• User accounts being temporarily restricted
• User accounts being permanently suspended

Moderation measures should generally be proportionate and understandable.

17. Report Problematic Content

If you find a problematic post, please use the "Report" function.

Possible reasons for reporting may include:

• Insults or harassment
• Discrimination or hate speech
• Spam
• Advertising
• Copyright infringement
• Publication of personal information
• Illegal content
• Other violations of the forum rules

Please do not misuse the reporting function for personal disputes or to suppress opinions.

18. Respect the Moderators

Moderators are responsible for keeping the forum organized and enjoyable for all members.

If you believe a moderation decision is incorrect, please do not discuss it publicly in the affected topic. Instead, use the designated contact or appeal process.

19. Responsibility for Your Own Posts

You are responsible for the content you publish on TXForge.

Before submitting a post, in particular check whether it contains personal data, confidential information, or content belonging to third parties.

20. The Most Important Goal

TXForge is intended to become a high-quality, long-term knowledge base for EdgeTX and model building.

Help others, share your knowledge, ask good questions, and contribute to making useful solutions easy to find for future members as well.
